Carlotta Schiavo’s art is all about rhythm , movement and distinct forms in the  ever changing and complex world of her paintings.  Monochromatic greens and blues transcend in symbolic starry skies,  square and cell shapes, wire netting like fantastic cobwebs , prehistoric amoebas , robotic honeycomb or futuristic jellyfish.

Scattered sand and pumice stone  conveys matter to her work whereas a discerning (discriminate)  order of circles, dots and signs leads to a rarefied vision of the impalpable and the unimaginable that must be captured and intimately translated by the observer.

Further enchantment  comes from the  mysterious wire netting which permeates over the monochromatic colours . This constellation , in alternative to its symbolism , gives the key to its sentimental interpretation.
