Carlotta Schiavio was born in Italy, raised in Ethiopia and studied in the United States, she now lives in Rome.

She began her career in the arts as a jewellery designer than began painting with a distinct preference for acrylic mediums.

She uses metallic and vivid colours in her work.


Her paintings reflect influences of her different cultures Siria, Daghestan, Austria, Italy and the ones she’s been exposed to during her many journeys around planet earth !!

Her work has travelled to Africa and in presently being shown in Italy.
